First Day

It’s been quite the hectic 2 days. Yesterday we had orientation, and today was the first day of class. Yesterday I walked down to the lake, which is beautiful, and watched the sunset (its got nothing on a Saskatchewan sunset, but it’s a beautiful place and I got a few pictures) Today was our first classes, most of which I found bit boring and repetitive, but it was more of an introduction to the program and I expect that to change quite quickly. We did have a fun time going through part of Elijah’s story though. We were talking about highs and lows of your relationship with God and his very quick high and low with the mountain and drought and afterwards running away.

Later in the day we went to the Mall again and I think I am now set for a good long time. Suprisingly It was very hard to find a charger for my phone, there was only one store in the whole mall that had electronincs of any kind. Then tonight we had a sabbath opening around a campfire. Everyone here has been absoubsltly lovley and we had a great time singing around the fire. Afterwards one of our leaders Braden, shared part of his testmiony to close out the night.

Tomorrow we are going to the church I will be calling home for the next few months, and I am very excited. So far I think everything is going about as well as it could be, and I look forward to the real classes starting next week. Until then, see ya!
